Alban Community Energy are planning to install community-owned solar on buildings across St Albans District. These installations will reduce host sites’ energy bills without any upfront installation costs, and profits will be reinvested in local community projects.
We would love to hear your site suggestions!
An ideal site would be a building with a large roof facing south(ish), high energy demands during the daytime, and strong importance to the community. Things like community centres, schools, hospital buildings, leisure centres, places of workship, etc.
