We’re asking for your suggestions of sites across St Albans City and District that might be suitable for community-owned solar installations.
An ideal site would be a building with a large roof facing south(ish), a energy demands during the daytime, and strong importance to the community. Things like community centres, schools, hospital buildings, leisure centres, places of workship, etc.

We are not currently in a position to install community-owned solar on homes, due to the minimum size of installation needed to make the community shares model financially viable. However, we do have partners who can support with home solar installation if you need help with your project.
